A brand new PTAC from the manufacturers of the Amana brand, the Distinctions PTAC units provide a high-quality and reliable product to meet your traditional PTAC needs. Each PTAC features AHRI certification, ensuring you get the energy efficiency ratings you expect. Your guests will easily be able to adjust room temperature to their preferred level of comfort.
New installations require a sleeve and a rear grille. These items are not included with the air conditioner. Fits a standard PTAC Sleeve Size (WxHxD): 42" x 21" x 16" . The cut-out dimensions for this unit are 42-1/4"w x 16-1/4"h.

On-board Controls – Distinctions PTACs can operate without a wall thermostat.
Energy Efficiency– With EERs up to 13.1 and COPs up to 3.4, Distinctions units’ high efficiencies may qualify you for many of the rebates offered by electrical power companies.
Automatic Emergency Heat– Heat pump units will automatically switch over to electric resistance heat if the heat pump compressor fails or if the heating load is great than the unit capacity (heat pump only).
Easy Pull-Out Filers– Filters are washable and easy to maintain.
Condensate Dispersion System– Condensate dispersion system removes condensate from indoor cooling operation by throwing water directly on the outdoor coil for rapid evaporation and increased cooling efficiencies.
