An 80°F summer day with an average humidity level can be just fine for a picnic but 80°F and muggy can be unbearable. Whether you are outside or inside, humidity has a great impact on our comfort and overall air quality. The Goodman split system air conditioning with multi-speed ECM (Electronically Commutated Motor) controls humidity better than a standard on/off system. Instead of tuning on at full speed and then turning off once the thermostat setting is reached, the ECM-controlled system adjusts its speed to keep the temperature steady. This keeps the room cool and continuously keeps air moisture at bay.
